You can actual save as much as 20% of your gas by slowing down your braking and accelerating.
3. Keep Tires Inflated to the Max.
Tires that are even a little flat don’t carry your car as efficiently as they should and because of that strain your engine, making it need more gas to go. Keep your tires well inflated
4. Try to Avoid Using the A/C

The A/C actual puts a strain on the engine. What does this do? Makes it so it requires more fuel.
5.Keep Windows Closed
In other words, cut down any resistance against your car that the wind may be providing.
6. Change Fuel Filters and Air Filters Often.
Dirty filters can affect your fuel longevity. Change them when they need to be changed or, if you can, clean them yourself.
7. Don’t Alternate Speeds Often
If you have cruise control use it. If not, then watch your speed and try to keep it consitent.
8. Ride Light.
Don’t haul anything heavy in your car unless you need too. Get rid of that ski equipment in the back…you won’t need it until winter so don’t be lazy because it’s costing you money.
